Pile of pennys

I found a pile of pennys today. There must be 100 of them, someone must have dumped them on the ground. I haven't been through each one yet but didn't see any wheaties while gathering them up. All seem to be fairly recent. I hoped to come up with a good find for my first post here but this find seemed odd enough to qualify. I hope the photo works.

Maybe it was dropped by someone trying to cash in some saved coins for cash.

I was walking out of work one day when I found a trail of pennies. Someone must have had a bunch of pennies to cash in at the change machine and dropped twenty or so in the walkway leading to my parking garage. There was one wheaty in the bunch....it made my day. Easy money....

Just today at my job there's a CoinStar machine,and in the bottom little tray there must have been ($5) in penny's,lots of wheats an a steal coin from WWII,
I allways check these machines in every store that has 'em.

Welcome to TreasureNet Cheesecrock. That's a good find for your first post. It's pretty rare to find that many in a pile. The most pennies I ever found in a pile like that was around 55 wheat's if I remember right. That was a long time ago too. Congrats!!!

Who cares if you have to pick up, dig up or scoop up a 100 pennies. I will take a 100 day any any how I have to get them they all add up at the end of the day and adds to my pile for the year. Nice find......Matt
