We did a little panning below the falls last summer and found 6 flakes on one trip. Later tried the same area and came up empty. I know of 2 mines from the 1800's way up above the falls and was curious if anyone here on the forum has ever had any success in this river. Since we live here we're looking for several good places to pan/slice this summer.
