pieces of old bottles worth anything?

hey,
I have some pieces of old bottles collected in Oregon in high desert. Some of these pieces of bottles have markings and engravings and such, and I think they might be very old. Are pieces of old bottles worth anything? Also I have some pieces of old ceramic plates, cups, clay ware, and such. Are pieces of old ceramics worth anything, as I think these might be very old. I have seen on television people selling pieces of ceramics like at a peddler hut sortof shop. Anyone can help me see if their worth anything? I can get some pictures pretty soon.

My opinion, is they have no value. I don't even bring that stuff home.

Only when naturally tumbled in the surf as sea glass, then it's about size and color rarity. Throw it in the sea and go looking for it in 20 years!
