pic of maps

Im having the dangest time loading up pics of maps(like in google or bing maps).I dont dont want to clogg up the other thread about this......I try to save the pic of the map, but then when I try to post it, its just a bunch of words..I dont have the "jpg" option to save it as...any solutions?

On windows one way is to hold down the alt key and hit PrtScrn when the map is being displayed. Then paste it into a graphics program, crop add text arrows whatever and then save it as a jpg. A little note giving credit to the original source is also a good idea.
