This picture shows the dirty version of todays finds, will post a cleaner version later on. First swing off had a huge signal in pinpoint and then dug the matchbox car out of the gravel. Always a good start, gentlemen start your engines! A bit later I got a small physics lesson today out on the playground. I hear gold is heavy like about 3x the weight of lead. What do you think happens when you go down a slide and then you hit bottom? I'm a heavy piece of gold jewelery on a thin chain. Between momentum and gravity, I'm going down all the way to the ground! Saw something sparkle as I was sweeping the detector nearby had no idea it was maybe gonna be gold. I thought it was probably some little scrap of aluminum on the gravel at the slides bottom. Went over in front of the slide and swung the coil getting a solid 9 signal from the safari and a low tone. I went like wow better check this out. Picked the shiny item up and saw the writing and felt the weight. Golds amazing stuff man . Then I went over to the volley ball area and found an oldish id-bracelet and then right after that a possibly sterling ear-hoop. Continued finding gum foil and nickels and dimes and some quarters left and right. Great hunt for me! Hope you enjoyed the read and happy hunts!
