Why do the photos upload sideways or upside down if the picture was taken from a horizontal position on the phone camera? It only happens when I do a post from the Android phone and not from the computer. Is there a setting or widget that I can press to straighten this little flitch up?

site pg says......

In order to change the orientation on an image, you will need to open the picture in a
dedicated image editing software, rotate it to your desired orientation, then save the
image and re-upload it onto your website.

No, thats useless here. My pics are perfect but something about the TNET website randomly rotates them on upload. It doesnt matter what orientation they are on your own device.

I upload from cell phone (android) all the time and never have issue with orientation if it is portrait on phone it loads portrait, if landscape it loads landscape.

You may be trying to upload too big a picture.

Just got back from Google - read a ton of similar problems. The common thread is vBulletin (our forum software) has a problem in the way it interprets uploads (landscape vs portrait) and the size of the image. Many experiences show that reducing the size of a image eliminates the auto-rotation that takes place. Funny, this problem was ALWAYS associated with IPhones - now Androids? Hmmm - wonder if a fix for IPhone screwed up Androids? :) Anyway - next time it happens - try crop'ng the picture a little before upload.
