Philco stamped Copper piece.

What the heck is this. It has punch out letters that read PHILCO and appears to be old copper. I thought perhaps it was the base of an old lightbulb. Anyone know?

Didn't philco make radios or phonographs? It looks like the piece that would go behind the tuning knobs.

It looks like the Name was placed Between 2 Knobs.
it may help ID the Model that way.
