Phil Greco

As far as I am aware he is still under detention in Dubai, All very strange the US seems to have ababdoned him.

If you search back on this forum there was a qute a bit posted about him about 18 months ago.

Hi Cablava

Looking at the Web site it appears he managed to get it all realeased and shipped back to the states.

He has been listed as a speaker at various events so hopefully he has been set free.

Just interested in the final outcome and wether it is all going to be sold off at auction or shipped back to the Philipines.

You are kidding right? Do you know anything about Greco's history? Do you know what he did to his investors? I do, very well. The guy should be locked up and the key thrown away. His wife too.

The artifacts, those that were recovered legally, should first be distributed to his investors, who up to this point, have received NOTHING.

So it seems he is back on the streets.

Madforwrecks, it seems that anytime there is large treasure at stake the investors are put on the back burner and often cheated out of their investments very subtly.

I Don't know anything about this guy other than what is on the WEB. Obviously there is another story to be told about this guy and his operation.

Ripping off investors is real bad news in the TH business, and if you can post any background information it may stop anyone else making similar investment mistakes.

Allegedly, several investors got ripped off, to the tune of several million dollars. I know of one personally who lost $1M. I have pictures of every single artifact recovered from Operation Tempest Sierra.

Google the name "Phil Greco" and "Stallion Recoveries Ltd" and you will see all the controversy surrounding him and his wife. He had some potentially libelous material on his website, basically calling his investors and a US judge "crooks", but it appears he took those references down.

Greco may indeed get possession of the artifacts, but we all know that perfect justice is served in the end.
