✅ SOLVED Pheasant ornament

At first I thought it was a hood ornament. However there is not a mounting hole underneath. Instead it appears to slide onto something.
Made of a potted metal in the shape of a pheasant.
What do you think its off of ?

Maybe a quail , pheasant has long tail feathers.
