I found this Lid I will call it during some road construction in an older part of town. Town Founded in 1883 Probably inhabited earlier than that.
. The pictures seem to indicate that it had an Iron attachment on top with a date of 1525 and another date of 1241 & U with an old style & symbol. the underside is concaved slightly like the lid to a sugar jar might be. Thank you all for looking and trying to help identify the origins of this relic.
