looks like lead that had been poured on the ground, and maybe a rock fell on it? No idea really....

Right! Haha, it bothered me last year when i found it to the point of me showing everybody in my family. They all had no idea so now I posted on Tnet in the hopes that someone has seen this for some odd reason. still no luck. No worries, it's going back in the box!!

I think Ken is on the right track. It looks like a lead puddle. Maybe somebody burned a hole in the bottom of their crucible.
