nice silver thimble, ornate pewter button i.d.

havent had time to post lately, found both of these over the last week, i found this thimble at an antique flea market i did over the weekend, i brought my detecter and went swinging after the sun went down.....came up with a ton of clad, but not sure if the thimble was lost by a vendor or was there long before, it is a very old area and was much deeper than any other targets at 8 or 9 inches. the button came from a lone spot a 100 yrds from a cellar hole that i found 6 more pewter buttons, 1739 Hibernia, a few musket balls and a broken brass buckle all in a 10x10 area, need help i.d.ing both the thimble is engraved and has a bell shaped makers mark inside and no lettering i can make out.....appreciate any help

No help with an ID on either, but those are both way cool finds! That button is an oldie and the thimble is a beauty.

I like the thimble; I've got one in my finds too. Was there no hallmark of any kind?
