Nice colonial pewter Joe! I would just use a toothpick on it. That crude can be tough to get off without damaging the pewter :BangHead:

Cool looking,(looks small) will have to see when you get the back cleaned up around the shank.Reminds me of a cuff link button I found (that was pewter I've since urethaned)but mine had a drilled eye shank & the large copper connect link you would normally see on cuff links. :icon_scratch:
