wow, thats amazing. My grandma had a bunch from Arizonia but I have never seen any this big. Congrates. Wow
 

Thanks!! My boyfriend has been stomping around these parts all his life, while we were in this area, we actually found his papaw's old sitting chair on the side of the hill, so it runs in his blood. There are a lot of small pieces out there, by the bucket full, but of course we went for the big stuff. One area is ripe with it.
 

Thats awesome! Have some pieces from the coal trees that we've dug up around here.
 

Have seen large forests of petrified trees uncovered...believe it was in Arizona or sw area.
 

If you dont mind me asking whats a good area to search? And techniques to findind
 

I hunt in southern Arkansas and we have this stuff everywhere. I bring home several pieces every year. the wife told me to stop bringing it home.lol but can't resist when I see it.
