Hello Steve,

Thanks for sharing your magnificent drill collection with us. Great photos, sir. Thirty years of very focused and productive walking, I'd say.

May I ask about the grey banded one near the center of the outer ring?

I have looked at all of your pictures StevefromMissouri and as I said before …a very impressive personally found collection.

Taking into consideration the many point types/cultures represented (Paleo through Late Prehistoric), the number of quality
points and tools pictured, the number of large undamaged specimens, puts your collection in the category of the top five
personally found collection I have seen posted on T-net.

I’ll take quality over numbers anytime. I have seen some nice personally found collections from other states as well on T-net
but I would put yours right at the top. I can’t imagine how big your “brokes” pile must be.

In order to find the numbers of undamaged and older quality pieces such as you have shown I would assume you’re are doing
a lot of river/creek hunting??

Yes, I'd guess 99.5% of my finds are creek finds with the exception of the Sedalias. I own a Sedalia site and about 1/2 are from that site. I have boxes and boxes and boxes (like most hunters) of commons and brokes. Arrowhead hunting and figuring out how to hunt the creeks better has been a passion of mine since about 1979 (8th grader).

Superb finds, what a great collection!
