Had 45 minutes today so I returned to a ballfield I went to a couple weeks ago. The field has been in use since the early 1960s, but like plenty in this area, I am sure it has had more sod added over the years. Last time I found two Wheaties, along with plenty of clad. Today I went with a deep program I've had success with in the past. I hoped to find some more Wheaties, and if lucky, a silver coin. Well, just made it by a year. About 6 inches I found a 1964 Quarter. The first silver quarter in several months. Again, gives credence to "If there's Wheaties, might be silvers too. Made my day.

Silver is always fun to find! WTG.

I hunt a ballfield the same age, get plenty of clad, rings, one or two wheats but no silver coinage yet.

Great find, WTG!!!
Definitely hit that place hard, as you said, where there's wheats, there's silver, and where there one, there's probably two... ;D
Good luck with that deep program, I think I would stay with it...
Happy hunting~

Nice find!
