Perpetual calendar--what do the letters "AOIE" stand for?
I bought this little perpetual calendar at an estate sale, but can't figure out what the letters "AOIE" stand for(Ancient Order of Independent ?) I looked on www.exonumia.com and it wasn't listed and even typed it in to google but nothing came up. The calendar was made for the Phillips Chemical Co.(Phillips66) and says "A Date with the PHILBLACKS" 1958-1985 Anderson & Sons, Inc., Westfield, Mass.
And what were the "PHILBLACKS"?
Thanks for any help!
