I'm excited.!!

I'm going back home to Kansas this weekend and I found out who owns and I got permission to MD my great grandparents old homestead..
I know my great grandparents bought the property in 1898.
Hopefully I'll have some pictures for you all to see..

When I went back home the weeds where to high to MD but I did find some old bottles and a couple of old plow blades. Whats cool is it was my great grandparents stuff. I told the land owner I wanted to come back this fall when the grass and weeds are dead. They said they would mow it or burn it off of me. I had a good time and learned that my great great granddad fought in the civil war with the 5th Regiment, Missouri State Militia Cavalry.Hopefully this fall I can find some good stuff..
