The permission keeps giving up silver and some good stuff. Ended up with the 1917 Merc, a 37 wheatie, a 40 cal round ball, looks to be fired and a brass Palmolive cap of some sort and then the 14 k gold filled thing. at first I thought it might have been part of a lip stick container but it is tapered, like maybe a sleeve for something. The 1st three letters were in a crack so it was hard to tell for sure what they said. don't know if it is silver based or what to have the gold fill. this makes the 10th silver for the year so far and the 1st gold (filled), it hit more like silver. The bullet was pretty modern and was found feet from the truck. Also dug a couple very deep memorials. DL

Congratulations

Silver always sounds sweet in our headphones especially a strong signal. How deep was it?

Cheers

Nothing like pulling a Merc out of the dirt, Congrats!

actually only about five inches

How nice for the other detectorists from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s to leave you a beautiful lil Merc
