Decided to walk some of the agricultural fields and woods on the Tennessee River and was hoping to locate some old home sites off one of the slews and... bingo. Had been out for a couple of hours then just about an hour before dark started hearing some iron trash on the edge of a huge sweet-pepper field and seeing some glass etc. Unfortunately no coins and could only hunt the ag-roads but found some great potential. They just cut the plants and will be pulling the plastic this week and turning the ground. Cant wait. They plant the peppers on plastic covered rows that are built up into mounds but will level it out when they turn it again. What do ya think?
Any input on age of site appreciated.
Some musket balls
Penny buttons are pretty cool as well.
This one has raised letters (supposedly older than indented) and says DOUBLE QUALITY.
Think this is the end of a spoon and appears to be pewter.
