Thx vpnavy! Was pleasantly surprised at what was back there. Gonna get back out this afternoon and see what else I can find.

kfetters, Welcome to Tnet! Ones own back or front yards, including side yards, can be the best places to detect and to Learn on. This is true as you are generally free to do what ever you want and that includes really taking your time detecting each target, writing down the numbers the machine gives you and listening to what the sound for each target can tell you and then finally pulling the target from its grave and seeing what it actually is and adding that to your notes. Pennies are great as well as nickels and dimes.

I consider all new coinage to be accessory money and it can pay for quite a few nice toys especially the ones that aid you in finding even more coins, things like coils. Keep on practicing as it will pay off.....................63bkpkr

Thanks 63b... I've had great practice out back and feel fortunate to have it there. The space is only about 15 x 20' and my building is just about 90 years old. I pulled a nice token that I havent identified yet at about 6 inches last night. Gonna add it to the "what is it" section. Still plenty of targets available. Probably get out after work again and see what else I find. :)

Nice marbles! :icon_thumright: I like marbles as much as I do coins, tokens, etc. Looking forward to your next post! HAVE FUN! Andi

The marbles are awesome, I love finding them regardless of how the hunt goes!

Ya... I like the marbles indeed. They all came out of the same little area too. Very cool!
