i need help with the reason why i am not finding 65 d 66d 67d pennies
is it some special ones??
find quite a few pre 82,s don,t save them
just trying to fill books and need certain ones the 60,s

In the mid-60's the US mint took the mint mark off many coins as they blamed coin collectors for all of the silver disappearing from circulation. They thought that doing that would mean less coins would be hoarded. So your cents for 1965, 1966, and 1967 do not carry a mint mark, even though they were made at various mints. They resumed the cent mint mark in 1968 with D for the Denver mint and S for San Francisco.
