i: i live in San Diego, Ca. and i just bought my first metal detector. Went to Mission Bay park beach the other day and found -Two Nails-hope to get better.

Welcome it will get better play around in your yard with some coins in your yard on top of the grass and put out one of them nails you found and some balled up foil as well to learn what your md is telling you. Play around with it to void out the nails and only pick up them coins. I started with a bounty hunter IV it is a good coin finder. Now I have a ace 150 and looking at getting the ace 350 soon. hope some of this will help you out and get you going in the right direction Happy hunting
