it was found in deleware County
If it is Delaware County Pa. I know points were found in the Ridley Creek area in the past. The Lenape Indians were in Delaware County. I go there quite often. Never look for points. But I like to start looking & learn more about them.

The highest quality slate is called Huronian and originated in the Lake Huron area. The WI glacier deposited a lot of it in IN and OH. I’m in IL and it’s too far west to find the good stuff. Slate is metamorphosed shale and dognose is in the right spot.

Like seeing pendants, I don’t find any kind of groundstone around here
