PENDANT

Found an interesting Pendant. It appears to be made of Pewter or lead bordered and held in place by a brass border or frame. The image appears to be of a man in a lotus position. Each side is slightly different. Perhaps an inscription of some kind below the man which is also different on each side. Attaching pictures of front & back. Can anyone give me any idea at all, some background on this pendant and its purpose. Curious of who it might belong to or who might have worn it? Some Religious group? Pendant appears to be quite old. Seems like an odd material to make a pendant out of. Pictures below:
