Pendant with unknown writing

I found this with a metal detector. It is about the size of a dime, and thin. I don't think it's a coin, and looks to have Arabic numerals, but I'm too much of a novice to know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm going to go out on a limb here. Yes, its a coin. It's silver. It's ancient. How it came to be where you found it....cant even guess.
