I obtained this 4 1/2 inch x 1 15/16 inch trapezoidal pendant from the estate of Jim Faller of Darke County Ohio.

James A. Faller (b: 13 Mar 1929 Fort Recovery, Mercer County, Ohio, d: 3 Mar 2014 Rossburg, Darke County, Ohio) was a Korean War veteran and a longtime farmer. Jim found a number of Indian relics on and around his farm, many of which I now have in my collection.

This pendant shows many minor plow strikes. Tally marks on the bottom and has mineralization overall.

That is an excellent pendant. I always wondered what the tally marks on a artifact represent. I have a stone pipe with tally marks.

Man, those tally marks look to be spaced at 1/8". Never heard anyone say they were used for measuring anything to prepare it for for cutting. A handy ruler.
