Got a few questions on a 1947 PH (PEARL HARBOR) military license plate I found recently, what color is it suppose to be, I plan on selling it, I had a offers of 125.00 so far, anybody know the true value and rarity, it's very heavy metal, surface rust, no rusty holes, plate is very straight no creases or bends, approximately 12 1/2 inches long 4 inches wide, any information would be appreciated, thank you.

If you were offered $125 you can bet it's worth more. Toss it on ebay and see. There can't be many of those floating around.

Very cool. I have a small collection of various plates and also have managed to assemble a set of all 50 states and haven't seen one of those. I have a New Hampshire suplemental plate made in 1943 that was just the top section of a plate with the year stamped on it and intended to be bolted over a 1942 plate because of the shortage of steel during the war. Also have a couple from Indian reservations. The hardest of the 50 states to get was Deleware because those plates aren't supposed to be sold or thrown away. They are supposed to be turned in to the state when they are no longer needed from what I understand. I would have thought Hawaii or Alaska would be the hard ones to find.
