Picked up this 1934 Peace Dollar Medallion on Sat for $15. It is a genuine Peace Dollar with the Reverse polished smooth and a hole drilled in the top. The polished side has an inscription which reads "To Dad on your 25th wedding anniversary from Velma and Emil". I thought it was pretty cool and according to APMEX the silver value alone is over $21.

Very Cool! Does it say the year it was given or do you assume that they got married in the year of the coin maybe?

Based on the style of lettering of the inscription my wife seems to think it was given in 1934 and that they were married 25 years prior in 1909. It does not seem modern enough to have been inscribed in 1959. Plus those are some old school names: "Velma and Emil".
