PayPal fraud protection a joke for sellers

Sold a item on April 29 in the last minute of a bin. Not unusual since it had a watcher for 20 or so days. Sent the item out priority the next day with ebay label and forgot about it. About 2 weeks later the package comes back with return to sender stamp on it there's no such address. Contacted the buyer told them pay shipping again after correcting the address and will ship again. Never hear a word from them so hey whatever their problem now.



So 2 months later to the day go into PayPal to transfe some money from a few sales and I'm negative even after my sales. Looked in eBay no case message. Called them tell me no case has been open and maybe pp had one open. Look in my email and see a case was open on that returned item as a unauthorized purchase. So I called pp got my money back as they dispute with the credit card company. So 3 weeks later, today, we sold a few items go i n to transfer and ship the money is gone again! Look around check email there it is, pp sided with buyer because I didn't send info to them. Go back through all my emails nothing from pp wanting that info. Call them they tell me to pretty well piss off so ce the tracking doesn't say delivered to the buyer that it's been returned. So I tell them everything explain I've been contacting the buyer and no response they say the same thing not delivered. So I go off I've had it by now, I tell them how is this my fault I shipped with a eBay verified label, and the buyer is verified through pp so why am I being charged all these charge back fers. The tell me since its my account its my problem. Well anyways I get all my money back after fighting for no bull 2 hours.

So here's my deal with this, the buyer who disputed it has made numerous purchase with the same credit card as confirmed by pp rep since making my purchase. Had 2 billing cycles to bring this up and never did. Also why are sellers being charged charge back fees and having their money taking if its pp and ebays ness up. I even told them her account couldn't have been hacked nor mime or they both would have been cleaned out. Also she would have changed the credit card number through her company. But still using the same card even after she's claiming to her cc company the card is being used in the wrong. So watch out sellers your bound to get sctewed someday like this.

It is unfortunate, but EBay/PayPal (as with many companies) have grown to a point that they simply don't care about losing a few customers - part of doing business. So, IMHO - that leave two options - eat it and move on or drop out of the program. Yes - it sure does suck!

Good question because it doesn't say he sent it back to another address, it just says;

Did you keep the item and end up getting a refund too?
