Payback @ Sentinel's stomping grounds

:laughing9: Josh (Sentinel) and I went out for 3 hours to a spot that he has been digging for the last few years. It's a colonial/civil war mix with little to no trash. In other words, a dream site. I took him out to two of my spots this weekend and he dug 2 early eagle buttons and a civil war navy button and then I watched him dig an 1821 one reale :laughing7: .. kinda felt good to get off the cold streak a little today ::) Thanks for the invite Josh. Definitely one of the nicest guys I've met in a long time and I wish I had been digging with him for the last six months. HH Jeff

Congrats Jeff :headbang:  You tore the bullets up today buddy! And you did well with buttons too with that

late 1600s-early 1700s Flower button VERY NICE! Rounded the day off with an eagle and another button and a

thimble. Not a bad day in the LEAST :icon_thumleft:  Glad I could reciprocate my friend    :icon_thumleft:

Nice relics Jeff. Glad to see Josh didn't hog the relics this time-LOL. Nice star base bullet. I dug one at DIV last March. We don't have them in Tennesse that I know of. Happy Hunting guys, Quindy.

It's not support. It's to give you false confidence so you feel even worse... when I CRUSH you with my sweet finds in April. :D

For sure. It's really just the Fall here that we have time to get things done.

Re: Payback @ Sentinel's stomping grounds

It is difficult for the dawg to look at this array of finds without thinking of you riding shotgun in the skunkmobile . :laughing9: Sorry ..was kinda funny , and I hate to say it but Josh was taking you to school .:tongue3: no offense ..That visual has faded away today . Amazing comeback Jeff ;D :headbang: Takes a few stinkers before something great turns up . Stick a fork in that eagle button , he's cooked ! ::) U were lucky it wasn't a rare CSA button or one worth a few $imolies. Keep finding more J -team

Thanks dawg. Josh and I were worried it was a rebel button considering we were digging on the confederate side of a battle area.. Good thing it wasn't ;D ..... The "J-team" is a combination of 2 crazy late 20's relic lovers (ok I like coins :laughing7: )
When is the dawg gonna come dig with us ??? ::)

Re: Payback @ Sentinel's stomping grounds

Re: Payback @ Sentinel's stomping grounds

Maybe tomorrow the "J-Team" ;D will have a nice Virginia button to show'em ;D

Re: Payback @ Sentinel's stomping grounds

Those Washington Arsenal bullets are good ones to find! I only have two or three (all found during my 10 years of hunting in Virginia).

Nothing like some good lead to brighten one's day.

Cheers,

Buck

Re: Payback @ Sentinel's stomping grounds

A VA button would be nice Josh.. Thanks BB, as I was cleaning that bullet in the sink I told Josh that I hoped one would have a star in the base and wouldn't you know it that very one I was cleaning was it.. I love this game

Re: Payback @ Sentinel's stomping grounds

Nice finds. That is a nice star based bullet.
Congrats
