Pasadena Back Yard finds: cars, coins and slag

Hello! Here is the haul from yesterday's sod removal/detecting adventure. It was a day of old toy cars. The little green truck we can identify as a TootsieToy. The semi circle seems like a vehicle of some sort. Camper? Then we pulled out this beast of a piece of something that I will assume is slag. Very heavy but not magnetic.

nice ID comparison! My mind had actually thought it to be front wheel headlight, hard to say without an exact match though

I actually thought front fender and police siren. But I couldn't find a pic of one with a shrouded front wheel. This one tells the story well enough, I think.

Boom! DCMatt for the supporting photograph WIN. I also thought maybe a siren, or little tag on camper but I love that is the back of a motorcycle.

They really are. I am amazed to have found more than one. Its cool to not sleep and just dig all day and night...right? Good.
