Every now and then my boy and I will make a trip buying up some coins searching them hitting another bank and doing the same.
A recent trip we made out pretty good.

It's hard getting half dollars around here unless you have the bank order some special so we usually mix it up with dimes, nickels and quarters.

We started off finding 2 silver quarters out of a box of quarters.

Next we mixed it up getting $400 in quarters and $100 in nickels.

Wow!!Who ever cashed in their nickels were nice enough to mark the rolls saying pretty much what was in them.A couple rolls were marked 40's,50's and some buffalo's.

We ended up getting 110 40's,50's and a handful of 30's.

24 silver nickels.

One of the nickels was a 44 s.Anyone know why it has the blue tint color to it?

9 v nickels.

And 121 buffalo's

And all for the day,not bad....

Awesome score, and welcome! What part of the country are you located?

Thanks everyone!!

We're from Maryland.

New to this,what's CWR?

I thought that's what it was.The nickels were CWR rolls.
After we left the bank and saw some of the rolls were written on and marked what was in them.We did a quick check of the ends confirming they were what they said.We then went back to the same bank seeing if they had other rolls marked the same way.
That was all the nickel rolls they had so we asked them if they had and quarter, dime or halves hand wrapped and marked the same way.....nothing.
It was a small branch and explained to the two tellers what we were doing. They thought it was pretty cool what we were doing and checked for more, but most other rolls they had were machine wrapped.

By the way, I think everyone forgot about the two quarters at the top because of the huge nickel score. I say this to say that two silver quarters in a box is very very good for quarters. Quarters are almost completely tapped out. Most people would probably find one silver in three or four boxes.
