The top part is wear it was broken off of something.
Bottom is flat
Must be aluminum because a magnet won't stick to it.
Any idea's?

I once had a weedeater attachment that took blades that looked exactly like your item. they were not supposed to break and you would never need string again. worked OK till you hit a chain link fence then things got ugly! (they are made of nylon nowadays)

Hmmm, well one side of it is pretty chipped up while the other side has none which would indicate the direction of spin if that's what it is.

There are lots of "relic" metals you'll come across MDing that a magnetic won't stick to. Pewter, pot metal, copper, zinc, tin (and various alloys of mixed metals), brass, bronze, cupro-nickel, German silver. As well as most stainless steel alloys.

And if you find "old" aluminum (pre 1890) it is something that was of relatively great value; more than platinum at the time. Before electric refining and furnaces it was hard to make.
