✅ SOLVED Part of gun???

I found this gun piece on a hunt yesterday. It is in poor condition, but it has some engraving on the end. I can only make out the letter "A". You have to zoom in a lot on the last picture to see the "A".
Any ideas??

Good photos, they show the structure of it well. I think the metal is too thick for a "pop" gun as I'd suggested. Still possibly the lever handle from a grease gun, or perhaps from a jack. The reason it can't be a barrel portion of a firearm is that there is a seam along the barrel showing that is rolled steel, which would never withstand the pressure it would endure.
