Two people have said it goes to a gun. I somewhat disagree. Can anybody ID this and if possible put a time frame on it.

It says "To load pull knob up". What could this be?!?!

My first impression was gun, but when I looked closer, it is similar to a gun, but seems more like a piece of a machine, not a gun.

Just a thought, it might be part of an old cap gun. It looks like it would feed a strip of paper caps through the slots anyway, but that's just my first impression.

So it's a cap gun. What kind a pistol or the Thompson pictured above?

My best guess on an era would be maybe late 50's early 60's.... Assuming I'm right on it being part of a cap gun.... I do like it for the Tommy gun mech though, maybe someone can post a pic or drawing to confirm it?

well you would have it upside down since you need to pull up to load.

Look at guns where Triggers insert Like this

& yes I agree on The Button looking like it is to Mimic a Thompson

l'm Going to guess 1960's only because the Pull to load Button seems Very Familiar,
Like I may have had one as a kid.

Either that or I was Clyde in my last life :laughing7:
