Just recently got a sniper coil for my Ace 250 and decided to try it out at a pretty trashy area in a park I'd had little luck picking through with my 6x9. Started out slow picking out all the pulltabs from the iron (hehe just what I wanted) then finally got a good hit at about 6" and pulled out a 55 wheatie (no doubling but was exciting for a little bit) then a little bit farther out in a really iron full spot got a 2-4" hit saying dime and was able to pull my first ster stamped ring.
Hehe, that got me pretty happy so me and my little girl high fived and other little stuff I do to keep her entertained and excited while we're out digging. She's almost five so hopefully in the future she'll be able to do it right along side my wife and I instead of just helping to look. After that we decided to walk back to the car for some water and a juice drink and happened to go back through a different way. Unfortunatly this park is a bit out in the sticks and lightly used so I happened on a big piece of foil folded and burned down the center just laying out in the open. Hate finding that stuff, especially with my daughter even if she just thinks its from a litter bug and we "get to help clean like good people". So I was kinda not paying attention when she points out a large coin spill just laying spread out in the gravel a little farther out. Hehe, 19 memorial pennies spread about 2' around probably fallen out of somebodies car. After that went back and found zilch good but this copper ladies watch frame and glass cats eye reflector they used to use on posts by the roadside
After that it was time to go home when my wife says she found a buffalo. My first thought was Nickel and told her not to rub it, but then she shows me this neat bit
Not sure what it is but looks like it ends where there was bolt holes that broke. Any ideas on this are appreciated. She also found these odd copper pieces and this picture pin with Alex Russo on it
