We spent 1.5 hours behind a large 18th C house in park land where we had previously got a gold coin. But gave up with just 2 button keepers & moved to a nearby Wheat Field for 3 hours.
It's a field we haven't done much as early signs where not that good.

We started to grid the bottom of the field by the road & the signs for a hammered where encouraging, but it didn't come until the last few minutes of light.

My first 1790 5 Kopek (Russian Coin)
2 17th C Halfpenny Tokens
Tudor Book Hasp
Lead Frog
Medieval Thimble
2 bits of scrap silver
First Medieval? Triangular Buckle:icon_scratch:
1817 Shilling
Shortcross Hammered - Cut Half
Hunts Button
17th C Button (Type I need)

Ok result for a gamble.

That triangular buckle is great! Never seen one before and to me it looks medieval too. :icon_thumleft:

WOW!!! Russian 5 kopeks! Not to find each time in Russia. Very rare find. Congrats! Cost ~ 10-20 P/s
