There is also the LDMA (Lost Dutchmans Mining Assoc.) which is a sister to the GPAA. There may be other smaller ones. A little googleing should find them if they exist.

There are many many local clubs. I am sure some searching online will turn up a club in So Carolina near you since there is gold around you :-)
