Panning around the Lake Allatoona area

Going up to the North Georgia area with my son this Saturday, March 30th. Around the Lake Allatoona area, ACOI property, to pan for gold. Looking to meet up with anyone interested in prospecting with us. Just putting it out there hoping to find some people who are more familiar with the area and could give us some pointers.
