We usually Vaca down at Inlet Beach about 11 miles west of Panama City. Are these all dry Sand finds or did you venture into the water?

Keith, we spent a week there in February, the in-laws are snowbirds and we leeched on for a week to get out of the Ohio weather. Not wanting to fly with my machine, I sent my back-up At Pro down with them, with a 5 minute crash course on how to use it. My finds mirrored yours, lol...on day one a nickel signal produced a sandy, gold ring...CURSES!! PLATED!! But hey, I enjoyed a week in the sun and on the sand. Ddf.

Can you please come to my beaches and take out all the bottle caps too? :laughing7:

You have to dig the low tone garbage to find the gold. The odds are with you - eventually !

One time I went to an out of the way beach in Ft. Myers Fl. to hunt. In the parking lot a guy came by with a metal detector and said "Nothing but bottle caps and beer cans". Well I went down to the beach and followed his path of dug holes in the sand and when they stopped I started. 5' later I got a silver tone mixed about 9" down. I dug and found a mason jar. When I got it opened it was full of silver and copper coins from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. I searched for hrs after that and only found beer cans and bottle caps....

I was mixed sand and water i do better at coin beach in deleware usually next weekend we are headed there
