Paleo square knife found 05/19/2010 in Hancock County Indiana.
Fully intact with no damage at almost 4 inches long. One side has large percussion flaking and no secondary pressure flaking on the edges. The other side is fully edge pressure flaked to give it a nice sharp edge. There is a small spoke
shave are on one end.
It is made of a whitish and yellow chert sort of like the Laurel material. Patina nodules are found over the entire surface.
In the third image, #95, some patina nodules are visible.
This is the second only true paleo square knife I have found in 43 years of surface hunting.
