May want to look at a soft sided, padded rifle case. There are many manufacturers that make 'em in different sizes...can probably pick one up cheap on ebay, craigslist or even at a gun shop or gun show. I still have my sniper rifle drag bag but it's all covered in burlap and frayed jute line! Set it down in the field ya just might never find it again!

Have not seen many rifle cases but still wondering if due to the size if the ctx that it may not fit?its a fairly deep detector with that head monitor sticking up , I realy want to protect this investment so this is a must before I start to throw all the gear in the back seat and go
