Anyone know what this tag was used for it was found at a town dated until 1915 was about 6 inches down.

Says pac gas & elec co 714 back says Patrick & co makers s.e california

Patrick and Co. merged with the Moise & Klinkner Co. about the time of WW2, so your tag will date before that. They all made police and fire badges and other stamped metal items. They were based in San Francisco, California. Cool find! Sub
