✅ SOLVED Overall Clip Maybe?

Hi all, found this today...it has 2 little rollers and the word "DESIDERATUM" stamped on it. About 1 5/8" wide, 1 1/4" tall. Wondered what it might be and how old. Thanks for any help.

Perhaps garter related. Looks late 19th early 20th century
