Last night I soared pass the 10,000 barrier for silver halfs. I now have found 10,079 silver halfs since March 9, 2007. I would never have dreamed this possible! I owe it all to this great site I stumbled on earler in the year and decided to give it a try. You also need to have a lot of luck, supportive spouse, and living in the right place sure doesn't hurt.

I hope many more silver halfs are in store for me and my wonderful wife, but if it stopped tomorrow, I would still be so greatful. This hobby has changed my life profoundly and given me a new hobby that I can share with the wife and be profitable at the same time.

Silver totals since March 9, 2007:

2007 CRH Totals Since 9 March
Barber: 4
Walkers: 144
Franklins: 240
90% Kennedys : 991
40% Kennedys : 8684
40% Silver Proof Halves: 7
90% Silver Comm: 1 1923 Monroe/Adams Comm.
1970 Kennedy: 8
Total: 10,079

That would be one incredible picture, but I don't think my table could hold all that weight. ;D

Thanks Coinlover for the nice comments! I wished I had gotten into coin collecting when I was younger. Best of luck coin roll hunting!!

i've only searched $60 in nickels, but have found some pretty neat old coins including a 1939D nickel, 1938 nickel, and a 1949S nickel as well as 18 other pre 1960 nickels. its fun, cheap, and another way to add to my collection! i like it. ;D

We will settle for a picture on the floor then I guess !! :D

Congrats on the awesome milestone OR....both of you. Keep hitting em hard....at this rate you could bust 20K by years end....really!

I've got a welding table made of 3/4" steel plate. I think it'll hold. Bring the halves over and I'll take the photos.
