Going on a camping trip to the eastern sierras. Anyone have any recommendations as for places to pan, sluice or in general just treasure hunt?

Might want to ask the locals and find out the history of where you are going. Watch out for private property and make sure you also know the laws. Never been on the eastern side so I can't make a recommendation. Research is key. Good luck.
