Just couldn't stay in, despite the crap weather. Looked a little in a neighborhood meadow. Found a silver ring, a 1926 wheatie, 2 ox shoes, a mule shoe, a pewter vessel lid of some sort, a little clad and some random pieces of copper and brass. 17nov20 haul1.jpg17nov20 haul2.jpg

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Good finds! Looks like a great little meadow to keep detecting! Thanks for posting.

I'll keep working it, even though it's full of square nails. Dug about 50 ox shoes there and had 2 cougars walk by about 50 yards from me early in the summer. This meadow is right next to the Donner Emigrant Trail. Hoping for something in gold or silver someday!

Good thing you had some finds to help weigh you down after a while!

Nice finds, congrats! :occasion14:

Geez! I was out swinging in the wind too but didnโ€™t have ANYWHERE NEAR those finds! Well done Rat!

At least it is still somewhat warm down there in Nevada. It's been snowing up here lately. I tried to go out Monday but it was wet, windy, and cold... I knew it was time to go home when I found a flatbutton and my fingers couldn't move enough to rub it haha.

Anyhow, I can always find something to complain about but those are some nice finds. That silver ring is purty.

Well, I actually got blown over once by a big gust, right down to my knees! The reports said 70mph gusts, I'm a believer.

You get points for being out there in all that wind! Looks like a pretty little silver ring with a turquoise stone...very nice.
