Detector(s) used
Whites and Garrett. I use several machines, the ace 350 is a nice machine. I have a 5900, 6000, whites.
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
The wheather is really different this winter, mild cold and back again. I have never been out detecting fields in March before. Today was about 30 F. but the sun was out, one minute there was a snow storm, the next the sun was out. I went back to the site where I found the fur trade ring, the field was really muddy, my dog was having fun trying not to slip, but it was worth it. Here is my first sporting button for the year, and the coin is a 1799 Brittish farthing, a little worn but I will take it.

There were so many different features, I have several different ones. Maybe others will post some of the buttons they have found. I enjoy playing in the mud still. :coffee2:

Nice 'Horsey' button Brian! :hello2:

You never know what this site might give up, I was hoping for my first gold coin. It seems I say thankyou when a site gives up nice relics. I figure it can't hurt.

The springs the best time to hunt in my opinion . . . you never know what might turn up!
I'm heading out on Sunday for my first hunt this year to test out my AT Pro. Hopefully it'll prove as lucky as my Ace 350 did last year.

Best of luck to you man,
Dave
