out of the ocean, into the sand into my hand Old Gold Relic?

Found 11/24/2020 OLD GOLD PENDANT

a remarkable find considering it is gold and probably old. and all i did is grab it up!
could possibly be a rare relic? the ocean has done a chemical action to the metal, but the
thin edges remain purely gold. it is in perfect shape. my Russian friend tells me it could be old German. and i'm thinking he may be
right?
